Sunday will see the semi-finals take place in the one-day competition for the top four men’s grades.

In the OEM Audio NZ Premiership Burnside West were top qualifiers, going through round robin play unbeaten. They host fourth placed East Shirley. Second placed Lancaster Park host Sydenham at Hagley 2.

In the Championship it was Sydenham who qualified top and they will host Sumner. Lancaster Park meet Merivale Papanui in the other semi-final.

Two Halswell sides have both made the semi-finals in Division 1 and being on opposite sides of the draw, they could potentially meet in the final.

Heathcote and Marist Harewood will have something to say about that thought, having qualified first and second.

Hornby look to continue their recent strong form in Division two and come up against a Riccarton side who are no stranger to finals cricket either. Marist Harewood face Sydenham in the other match.

Those who come through Sunday will qualify for the finals on 27 February.
